Guardianship and Protective Services
Guardianship and Protective Services, Inc., mission is to provide guardianship services that enable and enhance elderly impaired persons living in Trumbull County to be free from neglect, abuse or exploitation and to live, explore, and receive needed health care in the least restrictive community settings available.
Area Agency on Aging
Funding agency for senior citizens' programs. Nursing home ombudsman; plan, coordinate, and advocate for the development of a comprehensive service delivery system for the needs of older Ohioans.
Assists individuals in all matters related to Social Security, SSI, and Medicare.

Administers Aid to Dependent Children, disability assistance, medical, food stamps, Title XX social services programs and other various functions.
TAPN (Trumbull Advocacy and Protective Network)
A Network of Trumbull County representatives from social services, government, medicine, law enforcement, the courts ect., who serve seniors and share the common desire to provide system level integration and coordination of programs. TAPN is not a direct service provider.

Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office
Dedicated to protecting our residents of Trumbull County. The Senior Service Unit was created by Sheriff’s office and the County Commissioners. It was designed to reduce the vulnerability of seniors, (living alone or with a spouse) by providing periodic visits by law enforcement to ensure their safety and well-being. Strive to reduce victimization by educating seniors about predators and types of scams. Assist seniors with accessing social services to maintain an independent lifestyle using every resource available.

Congregate meals and home-delivered meals. We operate a program for senior citizens (age 60+ and their spouses).
Honorable Judge James A. Fredericka
Court of Common Pleas/Division of Probate. Judge Fredericka is responsible for all court cases that involve estate/probate matters.
Services for Senior Citizens: Nutrition outreach, hot lunches, peer social events, volunteer services, recreation and programming, information and referral and adult day care. In addition, assistance for seniors with financial need in obtaining long term medications.
Girard Multi-Generational Center
The Multi-generation Center will provide unique opportunities for daily interaction between generations. Such interaction is a critical ingredient to the well being of the community, and will have a significant impact on at-risk youth and the wellness of seniors. It can bridge the gap between seniors and youth -- between experience and exuberance -- and between traditions and technology -- by utilizing, and maximizing, the talents of individuals in the community.
West Farmington Senior Center
It is the mission of the Farmington Senior Center to provide services, assistance, & fellowship to the senior citizens of the West Farmington and Northern Trumbull County communities. Motto: “Never Leave As A Stranger.”
Country Neighbor Program
This program serves townships north of Route 88 assisting with home delivered meals, and transportation.
